Church Service

This morning I picked up the people of extension 8 to worship with us. The pick-up was full of people. The church people received them well, and we had a blessed service. The singing was very good, and Jeremy's message on sacrifice was good.

Mashakane # New Village

Some of the people of Vingerkraal moved to the new village, Mashakane. We visited them today, and handed out gifts, clothes, and supplies. Pastor Joel, with whom we are working moved there also, so we need to establish his church there. The Lord has led us into a direction to get them a tent, they will put it up in his yard. We also need to get them chairs, and music equipment. We agreed to work together, and will do the caretaking of the people through the church. Hillarius, who is in charge of the hospice moved there as well, so we have two hospices for the people of Vingerkraal. One for those who decided to stay behind, and one in the new village. The new village gives us the opportunity of starting a church because we have a pastor there, and people to help him. They are already seventy in total. We have applied for land to put up a church building, but how long the approval is going to take is an open question. We set ourselves the amount of $5000- to raise to get the church going: buying a tent, chairs, and music instruments.
